Went to Springbrook today and managed two trout. One was a nice brown. Anyone who has ever fished Springbrook (Caledonia, NY) knows how fussy these trout can be. This trout was taken on a sz 24 CDC BWO.

Hey Jaydog,
I had a friend, who grew up in Spencerport, take me out to fish Spring Brook. We also got to fish the Oatka and Oak Orchard. Spring brook was the most challenging---and very intersesting . We fished portions of it that were very narrow---and if I remember correctly the stream was n't all that long.

Nice to see someone getting out and enjoying the weather!

Nice fish. Always feels good to get a bend in the rod. Brandon, see the one dot on the side of the head? Wild fish?
I am guilty of trying to roll cast with my mouse at work.

Thanks Tim - Yes all fish in springbrook are wild. You are correct there isn't much public water to fish which makes it even more challenging. However, I have never fished a spring creek with so many fish, it's virtually impossible to wade anywhere without spooking 10 fish or more. It gets pounded all year too.
