first cast dingmans creek

got started today. hiked into Dingmans Creek , near me in nepa.... caught one rainbow.. then waded over my knee high boots. wow, 35 degree water is cold..lucky i had my 'survival pack' in my truck. hiked back and had two pairs of warm socks... Ed

Nice!!! I went in the Salmon River last month head first into 4ft of water trying to tail Dappings Steelhead!!!! The ice shelf broke as soon as i touched it's tail......I think it was the biggest steelie I've ever seen at that. Sorry Jimmy,next time we'll bring the net eh'.......
