This fly worked pretty well on the East Branch when the fish were rising sloppily to what looked like caddis in the am. We were sending everything but the kitchen sink to them but they wouldn't touch anything until I put this on. I had made only two before my trip so I gave one to my buddy and it was game on..

Nice man...I love a impressionistic pattern like that, especially when the fish haven't seen a million of them.I know EH caddis's are popular but when those finicky trout have seen a conveyer belt of them all spring long sometimes something else is the key.

Nicely tyed too. CJ

ps...always make at least 6, no matter what it is...you just never know when you make the next "lights out" fly!
