Several members here have talked about the advantages of tying traditional nymphs on dry fly hooks. I was wondering what are your current favorite hook (dry fly or otherwise) for tying hare's ears, pheasant tails, etc.?

Alex, I still use a standard TMC 3761 or 3769 for my Hares Ears, Prince and other standard nymphs. For bottom bouncing I want a hook that will pull off a rock or other debris without bending or breaking. Most of my Pheasant tails are tied on a scud hook, also standard wire TMC 2457 or 2488. I have to admit that I have started to play around with the Euro hooks such as the TMC 2499sp, the jury is out on these still. My landing ratio with them isn't very good.
