May I ask the same question for next week... May 7-11? I am trying to account for what I hear is 3 weeks early activity. I presume the March browns will be kickin'

thanks in advance.

I was on-stream, a tailwater today, and saw one grayish mayfly and plenty of stoneflies. Lots of them laying eggs. I suspect the mayfly might be a quill gordon but need the check if they are found in tailwaters.

I've seen this program on, I think the Discovery Channel. Absolutely Riveting, and amazing! His life as it is descibed while growing up, and his time in the wilderness...his perspectuive of the bears... it is fantastic and a must see.

Java,

What worked for you, streamers on the swing, stripping ?

Gary - mostly a #14 or 16 prince dead drifted... and one on the nymph while leading the numph under a thingamabobber in a sort of euro hybrid method. just tried that for the heck of it and it worked.

Hey, I am finally figuring this stuff out. Each outing I try something unusual for fun and
am often surprised with a hook up.

Gary- are you BFG's buddy that I saw the bear with???
